Clear labels are usually used in places where unique adhesive and printing capabilities are required. While all labels are offered with adhesive on the back of the label, clear labels are also offered with adhesive on the front of the label.
Clear labels with adhesive on the front may be applied to the inside of retailer’s windows, for instance, to display the logos of the credit cards they accept. This would be visible to the outside, but protected from the elements.Â
When removed, these clear labels can leave a residue. Static cling labels are an alternative to glue-based adhesive for clear labels
